We Actually Need Momentum Right Now : Mosaddek

Durdanto Dhaka captain Mosaddek Hossain said that they are not getting momentum in the last few games so they need momentum right now.  

Durdanto Dhaka will face off table toppers Rangpur Riders in the first match of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2024 third phase that beginning from Tuesday at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur. 

They are currently at the sixth spot in the seven-team point table with 2 points from one win and four defeats out of five matches.

“We actually need momentum right now. We are not getting this thing in the last few games. I think it will be a big mistake for us to think about the playoffs at the moment,” said Mosaddek after their practice session in Mirpur on Monday.

Dhaka have been struggling with their form since their win against holders Comilla Victorians in the opening game. They lost four consecutive games since that win. 

In the previous two games, Dhaka made a decent start against Khulna Tigers and Sylhet but they failed to maintain that performance in the remaining parts of the matches to suffer big defeats in the end.

“It’s important for us to win a game and get the momentum back in our favour,” he further added.
