Babar Happy With His Performance For Rangpur
Rangpur Riders’ Pakistani star Babar Azam said that he is happy with performance for the franchise in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2024.
Table toppers Rangpur Riders will take on Durdanto Dhaka in the first match of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2024 third phase that beginning from Tuesday at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.
After the second phase of this ongoing franchise-based T20 meet which ended in Sylhet on Saturday, Rangpur dominating the table with 8 points from four wins and three defeats out of their six matches.
Babar has been the top performer for the side as he has scored 204 runs in five matches at an average of 51 so far.
“All are good so far. I have played five games so far. The team is in great touch now and is also doing well both with the bat and the ball. I’m so happy here,” Babar told reporters after Rangpur’ practice session at the Bashundhara Sports Complex on Monday.
“Shakib is more senior than me. It’s a privilege for Rangpur Riders and young players to get Shakib on their team. He shares his experience in international cricket with the boys which is a great thing. He is also positive in the dressing room and he always has a smile on his face,” said the former Pakistan captain while asking about Shakib to him.
