It’s Not An Easy Wicket To Bat- Shoaib on Mirpur Wicket

Pakistani legendary cricket Shoaib Malik said that he feels that waiting game is more suitable in Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium rather than anything else.

Mirpur wicket had always been under criticism for its behavior and according to the experienced campaigner it is better to assess the condition and play rather than go there with a pre conceive notion.

“It’s not an easy wicket to bat on and I guess the best thing is playing here is to assess,” Shoaib said BPL broadcaster T-Sports when his attention was drawn regarding the wicket at home of cricket in Mirpur.“As a batter as a bowler as a spinner and I guess of course you make plan and make plan as a team and the best way to going down when you play in Mirpur is to assess and then play accordingly,” he said adding that youngster should not go into a shell following failure rather focus on expressing themselves as that is the best way to get out of bad patch.

Shoaib, who is currently in Dhaka to play the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League, country’s lone franchise-based T20 tournament, for Fortune Barisal also advised the youngster not to take too many information rather focus on playing their natural game.

“For youngster my advice is just simple opportunity is there grab the opportunity with both hands,” Shoaib said BPL broadcaster T-Sports when he was asked what advice he wants to give to youngster after playing for so many years. “Learning process never ends especially when you don’t do well don’t put yourself really down or go into a shell that its take really while to comeback.

So I guess simple message is go out there and express yourself and learn from wherever you get an opportunity,” he said. “Being a youngster what I suggest is that don’t gain too much information and just go out there and express have that faith that you will do well,” he said
