DD Added Irfan For The Remainder Of BPL
Durdanto Dhaka roped in Pakistan’s Mohammad Irfan and Gazi Mohammad Tahjibul Islam in the squad for the remainder of BPL.
The duo featured against Comilla Victorians at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.
Irfan represented Pakistan national cricket team in four Tests, 60 ODIs and 22 T20Is in between 2010 and 2019.
West Indies all-rounder Jason Holder was added to the Khulna Tigers’ squad for the remainder of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
The franchise on Friday took to social media to announce the arrival of the Caribbean. The right-handed fast-bowling all-rounder has played 80 T20Is scoring 1,154 runs at an average of 22.48 and taking 64 wickets at an average of 23.56. He also captained the West Indies in 44 T20Is, winning 21 and losing 22.
Khulna comprised a lot of prolific cricketers including Pakistan duo Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Wasim Jr, West Indies’s Evin Lewis and Sri Lanka’s Dasun Shanaka but the Pakistan contingent had to leave Khulan’s camp due to the PSL.
Dhaka are currently placed at the bottom of the list with six losses in seven games so far.
Title aspirant Rangpur Riders added New Zealand’s all-rounder Jimmy Neesham while South Africa duo Reeza Hendricks and Imran Tahir are set to feature for them in the coming days.
