Moeen Impressed With Aliss And Rishad

Comilla Victorians English star Moeen Ali said on Saturday that he is impressed with mystery spinner Aliss Islam and leg-spinner Rishad Hossain.

Both the spinners are playing for Victorians in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League T20 and they managed to leave an impression in the tournament so far with their bowling.

“Aliss is a really good bowler and he’s got really good skill. Mystery spin is always good to have on your side. We also have a young leg-spinner (Rishad Hossain) which Bangladesh really doesn’t have. It will obviously take them time and I’m really impressed with both spinners. I try to help them as much as I can,” Moeen told reporters on Saturday.

“This year the BPL is more different. More players are coming in and some very good overseas players and that’s how you get stronger as a team. Bangladesh is a nice and easy place to stay. The hotels are very good and we are very well looked after. The more high profile players you can bring, the better it will be,” he said adding that he always enjoys coming to Bangladesh as it is a very easy place for them to spend their time.

“It’s always nice to come to Bangladesh. I’ve been coming for a long time, since my U-19 days. I think it’s very difficult to play if you don’t know the conditions. It’s a different style of cricket and the bowlers are a bit different here too. I think it’s very good for your game, especially if you’re a young player coming here. Bangladesh are obviously very good in ODIs and difficult to beat.” he added.
