After enduring a disappointing first-ball dismissal in their previous match, Hridoy bounced back with an outstanding unbeaten knock of 91 runs from just 47 deliveries. His aggressive batting, featuring seven fours and seven sixes, propelled Comilla to a comfortable seven-wicket triumph over the Khulna Tigers.

In the day’s other fixture, Fortune Barishal bounced back from recent setbacks to defeat Durdanto Dhaka by 27 runs. Tamim Iqbal anchored Barishal’s innings with a well-made 71, while Alex Hales (89*) fought hard for Dhaka. However, Barishal’s bowlers, led by Khaled Ahmed and Mohammad Saifuddin who both claimed three wickets each, ensured victory for their team. This triumph propels Barishal to third place in the standings.

Conversely, Dhaka’s woes continue as they endure a record nine consecutive defeats, marking the worst losing streak in BPL history.
