The inaugural match at Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani Stadium in Gopalganj featured Abahani Limited, a six-time professional league champion, facing Rahmatganj MFS at 2:30 pm. Simultaneously, two other matches took place, one between Bangladesh Police FC and Chittagong Abahani at Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh, and the other between Fortis FC and Mohammedan Sporting Club at Muktijuddho Smriti Stadium in Rajshahi.
