Venues Confirmed for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 in the Caribbean and USA

The ICC has finalized the venues for the highly anticipated ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, to be held in both the Caribbean and the USA from 4th to 30th June. Seven venues in the Caribbean Islands and three in the USA have been selected to host the matches.

Caribbean Venues:

• Antigua & Barbuda
• Barbados
• Dominica
• Guyana
• St Lucia
• Trinidad & Tobago
• St Vincent & The Grenadines

USA Venues:

• Grand Prairie in Dallas
• Broward County in Florida
• Nassau County in New York

Geoff Allardice, the ICC Chief Executive, expressed his delight in announcing these venues, emphasizing the significance of this tournament as the biggest ICC Men’s T20 World Cup ever staged, involving 20 teams competing for the prestigious trophy. He lauded these venues as popular destinations among players and fans and appreciated the commitment and support of Cricket West Indies and the seven host governments.

Johnny Grave, CEO of Cricket West Indies, echoed the excitement, stating that hosting this event across the Caribbean Islands would mark a significant sporting event in the region’s history. He highlighted the overwhelming response and enthusiasm of the host governments in upgrading their international cricket venues and practice facilities. Grave expressed confidence in delivering a world-class tournament that celebrates the unique culture and vibrant atmosphere of the Caribbean.

The tournament’s co-hosts were chosen in November 2021, and the venues were meticulously selected after careful evaluation. While 15 teams have already secured their spots, the remaining five will be decided through the Americas, Asia, and Africa Qualifiers in the coming months.

With 20 teams competing for the grand prize, the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 promises an exciting display of cricketing talent, set against the backdrop of iconic venues in the Caribbean and the USA.
