Tigers Began Preparation For Upcoming SL Series 

Bangladesh began their preparation for the upcoming home series against Sri Lanka, scheduled from March 4.

The upcoming home series against Sri Lanka had three T20Is along with as many ODIs along with two Tests.

The three T20I will be held in Sylhet respectively on 4, 6 and 9 March and it will be followed by an ODI series, scheduled on 13, 15 and 18 March respectively.

The limited-over series will be followed by a two-match Test series, which is a part of the 2023-25 ICC World Test Championship cycle. The series will start with the first match in Sylhet on 22-26 March while the second Test will be held between March 30 and 3 April in Chattogram.

Hathurusingha had a meeting with the available cricketers for 15 minutes that included newly appointed across format skipper Nazmul Hossain along with Zakir Hasan, Nayeem Hasan, Taskin Ahmed, Shoriful Islam and Mominul Haque among others.

Mominul, who is representing Rangpur Riders in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League T20, attended the practice in the morning with the national but in the evening he also came to the field in the evening to be with his during their game against Comilla Victorians.
