Schedule Adjustments and Ticket Prices Unveiled for 10th BPL Season

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has modified the time schedules for the opening matches of the 10th Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), set to commence at Sher-E-Bangla Stadium, Mirpur, Dhaka on January 19. The BCB altered the match timings by just 30 minutes from the original schedule.

As per the revised schedule, the first match between defending champions Comilla Victorians and Durdanto Dhaka will now kick off at 2:30 p.m., shifting from the initial 2:00 p.m. slot. The day’s second match, featuring finalists of the last edition Chattogram Challengers and Sylhet Strikers, will take place at 7:30 p.m., deviating from the earlier 7:00 p.m. timing.

A total of seven teams will compete in this franchise-based cricket tournament, spanning over one and a half months with 46 matches leading up to the final on March 1. The scheduling adjustment aligns with the ICC Men’s T-20 World Cup in June, prompting the BCB to adapt the BPL timings accordingly.

In tandem with the schedule update, the BCB officially released the ticket prices for the 10th edition of BPL T-20. Fans can purchase tickets at the Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium, Mirpur, and the ticket-selling counter adjacent to Gate-1 of the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium (near the Academy Ground).

Ticket pricing details are as follows:
Grandstand: Tk 2,500
VIP Stand, Club House, North Stand, South Stand, Eastern Stand: Tk 1,500, Tk 800, Tk 400, Tk 200, respectively.

Ticket sales commenced on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily.

After the initial phase in Dhaka, the tournament will shift to Sylhet from January 26, return to Dhaka on February 6, move to Chattogram on February 13, and conclude with the final phase back in Dhaka on February 21. The BPL’s 10th season promises riveting cricket action and heightened fan engagement.
