Mustafizur Sustained An Injury During A BPL Practice Session Accident

Left-arm fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman suffered a head injury when he was hit by a ball during a practice session.
The incident took place as Mustafizur, playing for Comilla Victorians in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), was practising at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Sunday.
While returning to his bowling mark during a net session, Mustafizur was struck directly on the left side of his head. He was promptly taken to a hospital in Chattogram.
Following a CT scan, the medical team from the Comilla Victorians confirmed that Mustafizur did not have any internal head injuries. However, he will be kept under observation as a precautionary measure.
“After the CT scan, we are reassured that he only sustained external injuries. There was no bleeding inside the skull,” said S M Zahidul Islam Sazal, the team’s physiotherapist.
Sazal also mentioned that Mustafizur received stitches for the wound.
Mustafizur has been performing consistently in the BPL. He has taken 11 wickets in nine matches for the reigning champions.
