Minhajul will work with head of BCB programs David Moore to ensure that they have quality development programs in place for the cricketers.
Minhajul along with will oversee the planning, devising strategies, and implementation of the High Performance Unit [HP] and Bangladesh Tigers that would eventually provide benefits to the national team.
BCB earlier appointed another selector Habibul Bashar as head of BCB women’s wing.
Minhajul has been in the selection panel since 2011 but was appointed the chief selector in 2016 while Habibul was previously with the women’s selection team but later took the post in the men’s panel in 2016.
Recently Gazi Ashraf Hossain is appointed as chief selector while Hannan Sarkar replaced Habibul in the selection panel. Abdur Razzak, who joined the committee in 2021 after Sazzad Ahmed decided to step down from his post and is expected to get another term, retained his place in selection panel.
