Junior Tigers Not Taking Anything For Granted Against USA
Bangladesh Under-19 skipper Mahfuzur Rahman Rabby on Thursday said that they might have to pay price of over confidence ahead of their game against USA as he insisted that they are not taking anything for granted ahead of taking them in their third game of the ongoing ICC Under19 World Cup at Bloemfontein today.
Junior Tigers lost their opening game against India but came back strongly in the second game against Ireland to open their account in the tournament.
“We have a match against USA tomorrow. USA are playing very good cricket. We aren’t taking them lightly because they are a good team. We want to go through match by match. If we play according to the process, we can do well in this World Cup,” Rabby said ahead of their third
“We have had small partnerships in the previous matches it would be good for us if we turn them into big. Our batsmen are getting out easily after scoring 20-30 runs. If they run made it 70-80 then our team score will be bigger. I think we can play better cricket if the partnerships become big,” he said.
“Of course, there is definitely a room for improving in bowling. We are bowling well. If we became overconfident, I don’t think it will be good for us,” he added.
