Hridoy Can Hit Good Ball For A Six- Liton 

Comilla Victorians skipper Liton Kumar Das said Towhid Hridoy’s biggest strength lies in the fact that he can hit good ball for six.

“The way he( Towhid) is batting is unbelievable and it is nice to see from the non strikers end. The biggest thing is that a partner job is to bring relief to his partner and he relieved me to take the game deep and play big,” he said about Hridoy, who is leading run scorer of the tournament with 447 runs in 13 games with a strike-rate of 149,4 and an average of 49.64.

“I think he can hit a six against a good ball and that is something that very few among us in this country can do. Naturally a bowler irrespective of format will bowl to the stump and he can hit the ball that is bowled at the wicket very well,” he said.

“This is not something he alone does well in international cricket all the good players plays well the ball that is pitched on the stump and this is one of his plus point,” he said.

“Though he is short in size he can hit big shots and that is one of his strength and seeing him closely what I feel is that he thinks about cricket a lot and works very hard. Very few players goes to the gym as much as he does and during the off time as he need to do something or the other and this is a good sign,” he added. 

Liton made 83 off 57 balls and was the star of the show as he but it was Hridoy’s 43-ball 64 that changed the complex of the game.
