Final Stage Of BPL 2024 Kicks Off In Dhaka This Friday
The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is set to enter its final phase this Friday in Dhaka, commencing with a match between Cumilla Victorians and Fortune Barishal. Following an exhilarating phase in Chattogram, where three of the four playoff berths were secured by Rangpur Riders, Chattogram Challengers, and Cumilla Victorians, Fortune Barishal finds itself in a favourable position to claim the last spot in the playoffs.
Rangpur Riders have been the standout performers thus far in the BPL season, boasting nine victories in 12 matches. Cumilla Victorians closely trail with eight wins in 11 matches. Tanzid Hasan from Chattogram leads the batting charts with an impressive tally of 382 runs, followed closely by Towhid Hridoy with 358 runs.
Despite facing elimination after suffering a record 11 defeats, marking the most losses in a single BPL edition, Shoriful Islam of Durdanto Dhaka stands atop the bowlers’ leaderboard with 22 wickets.
