Durdanto Dhaka official said on Friday that their Pakistani recruit Siam Ayub and their new Afghan signing Gulbadin Naib will join them ahead of their opening Sylhet phase match.
Durdanto will take Rangpur Riders at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on January 27 and both of them are expected to be available ahead of that crucial game against Riders.
“We are expecting them to be available ahead of our next game (against Riders) and it will be a huge boost for us,” a top officials of Durdanto told Kriknews on Friday.
“They ( Ayub and Naib) are quite capable cricketers in the shortest format and both of them are carrying a good form at the moment and we just want the way they were playing in the recent past if they can carry on with that momentum it will be beneficial for us,” he said adding that they are not ready to put any extra burden on their shoulder and just want them to enjoy the game.
Ayub, the 21-year-old top-order batsman, who represented Pakistan in one Test and 12 T20Is, recently featured in four out of Pakistan’s five T20Is against New Zealand.
